Now that I've finished some misc projects like the Radio Controller, I started awhile back, it's now time to revamp some projects that could use some upgrades.
First I'll be redoing my LPT to IDE interface along with releasing the Visual Basic code to control it. Click the images for a preview... Using a PLD, I've reduced the chip count to just two IC's for 8-bit parallel operation. (I'll post that soon.) With that said, I could add one more chip and I'll be able to add a Hard Drive or Compact Flash to any of my projects via a standard serial bus. Or just use one (multi-IO) MCU for the whole thing.
